Why don’t we choose to remember the history that is really important? The fact is that history will repeat its way unless we learn other ways. People say that things in the past aren’t important but it is very important . At the end of WWII, we said never again would we allow such things to happen.

With this said think about Bosnia and the conflict that happened there, or the Middle East, Iraq? These are two countries that  have decided to destroy groups of people for different types of beliefs. Why was this allowed to happen? What about here in the United States? People need to see the  truth, we have had one of the oldest ‘hate’ groups in the world.

They are not what they  were originally made for when they were created in the  1860’s. In the 1860’s the group  of the  KKK were made by college graduates in Tennessee. It was meant to be like a college fraternity without the college. The first people who were in it were all former Confederate Officers. When the period of reconstruction was over they were gone  for the most part.

Some of the first African American people who were in public office were in the South. Now we have an African American President and those who feel that a person who  has a different skin color are not as worthy to live in this country.

Here is something that people need to remember and that is there is only one or two genes difference between a blonde hair person and a person who is of African American decent. For a person who has blonde hair and pale skin they actually have a genetic mutation.

The human body needs a natural chemical called vitamin D to help with several problems that can come up. When humans came out of Africa, the darkness of the skin wouldn’t allow the sunshine in to create the vitamin D that  we need. So the body began to mutate and it got lighter so more of the sun can create what is needed. So my question is why do we not  see what  is going on. I see those who look at me  like I am strange because I wear a hat that shows  the “POW/MIA” flag on it. I am a veteran and the fact  that were willing to give all for this country. Yet there are people who will give me a dirty look for wearing it.

We need to learn to look at the past to prevent it from happening again. Who knows who  will be  next on the  hate list? Could it be you or me?

Please I beg everyone to look at the past with open eyes and a open mind. It is safe to ask questions about the past and to challenge those who want to run this country on how they feel on topics.
