Didn’t We Learn?

Didn’t we learn from the last century that the extreme talk of some can have very dangerous side effects? This isn’t a political  stance, this is a moral stance. This is a reminder of what people running their mouths can cause.

I have been listening to the comments that Mr. Trump has been saying during his run for the Presidency and frankly it scares the daylights out of me. He has said that 50,000 ‘immigrants’ would have to go back. The thing is that this country was founded by ‘immigrants’.  He has also said that the welfare problem is caused by ‘an anchor baby’ system for immigrants. – There are two things here that I need to point out, 1) people who are of Caucasian decent are ‘immigrants’ in a form and 2) closing the borders will not make this country better – it is called Isolationism.

We have been there before: at the end of World War 1, a defeated nation (Germany) was in chaos. There were riots in the streets and we ended up with an extremist that wanted to blame all the problems on a group of people. That person was Hitler, and he used people’s anger against another group to take control. Don’t believe me – ask Jerry Springer  – his family had to leave Germany due to the fact that the Nuremberg race laws made things hard and they were being persecuted due to religion.

I can understand wanting to make this country great again, but we need to engage our brains and not fall for the anger speeches that are out there. Statements like

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.”

It sounds a lot like: “Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction.” (Hitler said this.)
