What can we expect from our next President of the United States? Last night the country had the opportunity to choose between two people who wanted to run this country. The choices were between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
When I got up this morning, the news was that Donald Trump is the next President of the United States. I can not figure out why he was elected but the country is in a strange position at this point.
The last time that I can remember that someone who had no solid plan for a country and embraced the hatred of a group we ended up with the murderous run of the Third Reich and the deaths of the 50million people.
When I heard that Trump was accepting the endorsement of the leader of the Ku Klux Klan, then I am seeing history repeating itself. I thought that I was just being strange, then to see images of the newspaper and their was images showing the support of the oldest known hate groups of the United States to Donald Trump.
So, I am seeing history repeating itself and I am scared of what could happen if things go the wrong way. Maybe they won’t, let’s hope so, but fear of the past is a strong motivation for me to remember.
People say that I see things in a negative way to often and it is all in my head. Is that the only reason? Are people that scared of the past? What should I do?
Keeping my fears to myself might be the best and sanist thing to do for now.
