Mutation or Evolution…

What is the difference between mutation and evolution? Why is this important? Why do we need to understand them?

This is one that may get some strange looks and who knows what kind of responses I will get. Please remember that this is my opinion only and that there is no threats or acceptance of the behaviour that I talk of – most is to prove a point.

First off we need to look at the past to see the results of when people don’t understand the difference between the two. A mutation could be something as simple a person having lighter skin due to the fact that they live in a colder climate and need to make Vitamin D through sunlight. This type of mutation will cause an evolution change to where the people that live in the colder climates have lighter skin color to make the Vitamin D that they need to be healthy.

The two are directly connected, whether some want to believe it or not. The problem is that when people want to see the color of a person’s skin makes them ‘less than human’ then we run into a problem.

We have been there before and it ended up costing the human race  about 11 million people. 6 million were of the Jewish religion, others were considered ‘undesirable’. These were gypsies, physically or mentally challenged, people of Slavic nationality and others.

So when the world found out {and most knew but didn’t want to accept} that the camps were there we said “Never again” but still this is happening. We don’t want to see it. There was a statement that was made by Dwight D. Eisenhower that has always stood out in my mind.  quote-the-same-day-i-saw-my-first-horror-camp-i-visited-every-nook-and-cranny-i-felt-it-my-dwight-d-eisenhower-75-80-71

The fact that he was a General at the time, should make you stop and think for a moment. This is a person who had been going through World War 2 and this bothered him.

The fact that people are saying that the German policy was trying to force the evolution of humanity is not seeing the full damage that can be done. When you look at things, mutation is a way to see if something will work, if it does, then the mutation becomes an evolutionary trait.

When we look at the world today we see people of more than one skin color, more than one religion, some that are physically disabled, some that mentally disabled. Who has the right to choose who can make a positive input in the world.

Albert Einstein was jewish, and he is one of the best known physicist. Stephen Hawkin’s  is a theoretical physicist, he also has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He is in a wheelchair and uses a computer voice to talk. Leonardo Da Vinci, was an artist, inventor and  at at the same time used mirror writing for his personal journals.

Do any of these people deserve to have been destroyed due to the fact that they are different? No! They were and are able to contribute to the world.

The planet makes mutations to see if the mutation will improve the race. If so it will spread and become part of the evolutionary process.
