A Super Yummy and Healthy Meal

I had the fun of making a meal that was super yummy on Sunday and was even better on Monday. I made teriyaki steak stir fry for dinner. {Warning: Super Hunger May Happen}

I made fresh white rice in a cooker with a minor (very minor) pinch of salt. There were fresh scallions, green onion, garlic, that were heated in a bit of olive oil and lemon juice. Add in a bit of ground ginger and once everything was warmed a bit add the stir fry steak and cook mostly. Then add fresh mushroom, broccoli, cauliflower and sugar snap peas. Coat with as small amount of teriyaki sauce as needed to lightly coat veggies and add a bit of water to steam veggies. When everything is cooked (I prefer the veggies extra crisp), remove from heat and add toasted coconut if you want and enjoy.

The reason that this is super healthy is the veggies can be any that you like and have them be fresh and the fresher the better. The lemon juice is an activator that will bring all the flavors together and it is one that you can add things to and still have a fun dinner.

The total cost if you go to the stores that I do is less than $25.00 for everything and the meal last three days. When you get all the nutrition value by minorly steaming food instead of cooking it to daylights means that your body can use more of the nutrition and you feel better.
