This is one of those that I would love to be able to do. Now this is going to get into politics so be advised now.
If I had the power to do this to anyone and replace them with someone that I felt had the ability to do a better job than they would, I would do it. The thing is that I have high standards on some of the jobs and there are several who would be turning their noses a bright shade of brown, trying to keep their jobs. (Butt kissing 101 has begun)
The first one would be Donald Trump! Point blank. Point Simple! The reason is this, he has no experience the real world! He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never has wanted anything. He has never done time in the military, (military school is different than the military), he has never had to worry about where his next meal will come from, never been homeless and never had to deal with the real challenges of life.
Let’s go deeper into the reason why Donald Trump would hear those words from me: When he took office in the White House it was 20 January 2017. In the last 6 months, what has he done:
- Golf Rounds: 661
- Times on his Golf Courses: 43 (1)
- Tweets sent: As of 20 July 2017 over 1000 (2)
- Topics of Tweets: You can go to http://www.trumptwitterarchive.com/ and look for yourself (3)
- Bills sent to Congress: 40 – most have been to dismantle President Obama’s legacy. (4)
So, what we need to do is the same thing that Trump has done more than once. Tell him those words that have become famous on his shows and others as well and that is “You’re Fired!” This is done through impeachment so let’s get on the phones, email our congress people and senators and tell them that they need to get impeach him. He is doing more damage than good. The longer he goes on in office the more damage is done.
If we look at the behavior that is being shown by Trump and those in the White House you should notice that there is a stability issue with Trump’s behavior. I am not a mental health specialist but I can see what he and the others are saying and putting on display.
According to an article done by CNN “Dozens of mental health professionals signed on to a letter in February that said Trump’s “speech and actions demonstrate an inability to tolerate views different from his own, leading to rage reactions,” and show “a profound inability to empathize.” (5) The letter was put in the New York Times in February (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/13/opinion/mental-health-professionals-warn-about-trump.html?_r=1 ) and there were 33 other mental health workers aside from the two that wrote it signing the document! How many people have been ‘thrown under the bus’ by Trump since he took office? How many were fired because they didn’t do as he asked? There is Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, Former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara, Former FBI Director James Comey, Former Communications Director Mike Dubke, Former Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Preibus. In addition to firing or forcing people out of his administration, others have also quit or been reassigned. These people are: Deputy National Security Adviser K.T. McFarland (reassigned), U.S. Census Bureau Director John Thompson (resigned), Office of Government Ethics Director Walter Shaub (resigned), and Deputy Chief of Staff Katie Walsh (resigned). (7)
- Is this the type of person that we want running this country? Someone who fires or gets people to resign due to a difference of opinion? Someone who spends more time golfing than doing the job that they were hired to do?
- When is enough, enough? What does it take before people wake up?
