A Painful Topic but One That Needs Attention

This post is not meant to cause pain for the victims of 11 September 2001, I am trying to get questions about it out. To those who lost loved ones, I am trying to show that I have never forgotten or forgiven the people that could have prevented your loss.

I have always been a person who questions things. When the towers in New York City came down, my heart was broken for the loss of so many people. I got frustrated when the news channels showed President George W. Bush sitting in a classroom listening to a reading lesson. When he was told that the first tower had been hit, he should have been out of the class and getting his ass to the closest base and taken care of the security of this country.

When he was getting interviewed later on it, President Bush said that he had seen the first plane hit on a TV outside of the class. Here’s question number 1: the footage of the first plane hitting wasn’t shown until after the towers had come down, so how did he ‘watch’ the first plane hit on the TV?

When the planes went off course and the tracking information was turned off, where was the military at? Why didn’t they deploy planes to find them and put the country on alert? I was in the Army there are several things that you have to do in this type of attack!

I have heard that the Navy was doing a training session and had planes in the air and area. I don’t know if it’s true or not but I feel like the ball got dropped.

When any incoming President starts the transition into office, they are given briefings on the major issues in the country. Ms. Rice said that the title of the security briefings on the terrorism threats was too vague but when asked what it was titled she said it was something to the effect of ‘Bin Lauden plans attack on the US’.How is that vague?

After the attack happened, all the planes were grounded but the US government pays for members of the ‘Bin Lauden’ family to fly out of the country without being questioned. If you have going to get any good information on someone who has broken the law, you need to talk to the family.

Has anyone tried to get a full copy of the ‘Patriot Act’ and really read it? Most of the people in Congress never read it, most of them were like us and running on fear. Has anyone noticed that the ‘terror threat’ has never been back down to a safe color.

I am still in love with this country but the problem we now have is one that is not going away any time soon. When we lose so many people then we need to know the truth.

When I hear people talking about the email server that New. Clinton used is a reason to not vote for her, yet the people that are saying this found ways to not go to active duty military and has had their companies file for bankruptcy on three times… Who is the better choice?
